Below you will find instructions on how to give in each of the four ways we have set up:

• You can donate through e-transfer by sending it to giving@cornerstoneyxe.ca. Please leave a note "general giving" in the memo line when sending your donation.
• If you would like to set up recurring payments, you can set up a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) agreement. This is an agreement that allows you to authorize when and the frequency of money coming directly out of your bank account. Forms can be downloaded by clicking the button below. If you have questions or want more information, contact the office (info@cornerstoneyxe.ca). If you already have this method set up, you are able to change your giving easily by emailing Dave Katz (dave.w.katz@outlook.com).
• If you would like to give by credit card, you are able to do so right through our website using a platform called Rebel Give. By clicking the orange icon in the bottom right hand corner of our website on any page, you will be redirected to a giving page. This is a credit card giving platform that we have used to replace PayPal. The reason for this is that with most credit card payments, the church does not receive your entire gift. With Rebel Give, you as the giver is asked to cover the credit card fee, meaning that 100% of your gift is actually given to the church. If you do not want to pay a credit card fee we would encourage you to give through one of our other options for giving.
• Finally, if you would still like to give by cash or cheque, you are able to do so by dropping it off at the church during our office hours, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am - 3:30pm or on Sunday morning.

The simple answer is we believe everything we have comes from God in the first place. We give because we believe God has entrusted us to be leaders for hope in our church and our community

The Bible teaches that a guideline for giving is called the tithe (Leviticus 27:30). That is giving 10% of what we earn back to God.

"The one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully."

2 Corinthians 9:6,7

An offering is a gift given to a specific need above and beyond our tithe. Things such as our Benevolent Fund, Lent Project, or Advent Project. Stay tuned for needs as they arise.

Giving acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have (James 1:17).

Giving reflects our trust that God will provide for us (Matthew 6:19-24).

Giving allows us to be active participants in God's work on earth (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
