Cornerstone Student Ministries is a place for students to come and connect. Whether you believe in God or just checking things out, you're welcome here. CSM meets weekly and our students come from all different places and walks of life. We believe strongly that we need to be a place where students can come as they are. We hope you will join us!

Sunday School (Starts September 15th)

Every Sunday morning we have classes designed to help us dive deeper into our relationship with Christ. This happens after the Sunday service at 11:11 am:

Servers In Training - SIT's (Grades 5-7) - Meets in the CE Wing

Youth (grades 8-12) - Meets in the Loft

Tuesday Drop-in (Starts September 17th)

A casual hangout for grades 7-12. This happens every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

Thursday Midweek (Starts September 19th)

The heart of what we do. We meet every Thursday for games, teaching, snacks, and community.

Switch (Grades 5-6) 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Junior High (Grades 7-8) 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Senior High (Grades 9-12) 8:00 to 9:30 pm.

Fall Retreat - October 4th-6th

Open to students grades 7-12. See below for more details.

We are so excited to announce that we are going to be having our Youth fall retreat this year on October 4-6 at Ranger Lake Bible Camp! This retreat will be full of fun, getting to know each other, and growing in our faith!

This will be a great weekend for us to launch into our fall and is a very important weekend to make. Please make sure to read everything before registering.

Here are some important details you need to know:

• We will be leaving for Ranger Lake Bible Camp on Friday at 5:30 pm, and arriving back on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Drop off and pick up will be at Cornerstone Church. 
• The price for the retreat is $120 and if a family is sending more than one student each additional registration is $100. 
• The registration deadline is September 27th (the reason being is so we can give numbers for how much food to prepare).
• What is included in this price is two nights of accommodations, meals throughout the whole weekend, travel, and the rental for using the camp property. 
• We never want the price to prohibit your kid from coming on a retreat, and we have sponsorship options for those who cannot pay full price for the retreat, so please reach out to Pastor Michael at michael@cornerstoneyxe.ca if this amount is not possible and we can work something out!
• If your youth-aged kid is newer or brand new to youth this is a great opportunity for them to connect with Cornerstone Youth!

Things your youth needs to bring for the fall retreat:

• A bible and notebook (if your youth does not have a bible we are more than happy to supply one).
• Sleeping bag and pillow
• PJ's
• Two changes of warm clothes and two changes of light clothes
• Two pairs of footwear; we recommend sandals, closed toe shoes, or rubber boots
• Rain jacket
• Hat, sunscreen, and bug spray
• A towel and modest swimsuit 
• Water bottle with name on it
• Toiletries (Body wash, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
• Medications 

Please leave these items at home:

• Valuables- Expensive clothes, electronics such as iPods, smartphones, and video games
• Dangerous items- Items such as knives, fireworks, firecrackers, and etc.
• Food- We want wildlife to stay away from our cabins, so we will supply food and snacks!
• Drugs and alcohol- If any retreater brings alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products to the retreat the retreater will be sent home at the parent/ guardians expense

How to register:

• Simply click the 'register' button below and follow the prompts, make sure to answer all the questions
• Deadline to register is September 27th 

How to pay:

• You will not be able to register without paying, and it will come at the end of the registration form!
• Payment will be accepted by cheque, credit card, or e-transfer. 
• *Please note - due to us paying the camp directly based on numbers we receive, we are unable to give refunds for this retreat

In order for your child to attend any of Cornerstone Church's Children's or Student's programming, you will need to fill out a registration form. This only needs to be done once per year. Please follow the link below to do so digitally, or contact the office to fill one out in person.
